Types of restraining orders
There ar four types of orders you’ll be able to raise for:

Domestic Violence Restraining Order
Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Restraining Order
Civil Harassment Restraining Order
Workplace Violence Restraining Order

Domestic Violence Restraining Order
You can elicit a force restraining order if:

Someone has abused you, and
You have a detailed relationship thereupon person (married or registered domestic partners, divorced, separated, geological dating or accustomed date, have a toddler along, or live along or accustomed live along — however quite roommates), otherwise you ar closely connected (parent, child, brother, sister, grandma, granddad, in-law).

Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Restraining Order
You can elicit AN elder or dependent adult abuse restraining order if:

You are sixty five or older, OR
You are between eighteen and sixty four and have sure mental or physical disabilities that keep you from having the ability to try to to traditional activities or shield yourself;
AND

You are a victim of:
Physical or monetary abuse,
Neglect or abandonment,
Treatment that has physically or mentally hurt you, or
Deprivation by a caregiver of basic items or services you wish therefore you’ll not suffer physically, mentally, or showing emotion.

Civil Harassment Restraining Order
You can elicit a civil harassment restraining order if you’re being annoyed, stalked, abused, or vulnerable by somebody you’re not as near as is needed below force cases, sort of a friend, a neighbor, or additional distant relations like cousins, aunts or uncles, or nieces or nephews.
Workplace Violence Restraining Order
You can elicit a geographical point violence restraining order if:

An worker CANNOT elicit a geographical point violence restraining order.
