Restraining Order

A restraining order may be a writ issued to stop the return of acts of abuse by a batterer. Underneath the force interference Act, abuse is outlined as any of the following:
-Intentionally or recklessly inflicting or making an attempt to cause bodily injury.
-Sexual assault.

A victim that’s a target of abuse however doesn’t have the mandatory relationship to the batterer could file a civil harassment restraining order, mentioned below.

The restraining order will embody the following: restraints on personal conduct by the batterer; orders for the batterer to stay-away from the victim’s home/work and/or kid’s school; orders for the batterer to be off from the residence; child custody and visitation and support orders and alternative miscellaneous orders.
