a Habra police inactive a person shortly when 2 good Samaritans recovered a handbag that was purloined from AN 82-year-old woman walking home from church Sunday.
The two good Samaritans left shortly when returning the purse to the girl. Police don’t recognize their identities, said Sgt. Clint Angle of Los Angeles Habra local department.
Alfredo Lezama, 25, was being command at the La Habra Jail on a theft charge, Angle said. He was expected to be transferred to the Orange County Jail late Sunday.
Shortly before two p.m., a person snatched a handbag from the women close to 650 S. Beach Blvd. at Lambert Road.
The purse snatcher ran off and 2 men followed him during a automobile. The nice Samaritans fixed with him, got out, knocked the person down and recovered the purse. The men then took the purse back to the victim. Then, they left before police might interview them.
Another witness told police wherever the crook had run, Angle said.
Police inactive Lezama concerning third of a mile away close to Toledo Place, an area street.
